In cooperation with the ORF (Austrian Broadcasting Corporation) Manfred was asked to take on the role as lighting director for the 33rd presentation of the “Kurier Romy”, the Austrian film and television award. Each year, the gala is organised by the Austrian news outlet “Kurier” and takes place in the “Hofburg” in Vienna. 

After a 2-year pause due to Covid-19, the Romy gala 2022 was hosted by ORF-presenter Andi Knoll, while director Heidelinde Haschek, together with a total of ten cameras, made sure that the award ceremony was presented just as illustrious for the television viewers at home, as well.
