EAV’s last concert took place on 14 September 2019 in the stronghold of all Austrian arenas: the “Wiener Stadthalle”. The production design of the “1000 Jahre EAV” farewell tour setup was extended for this event to meet the required size of this arena level. Due to the DVD recording, the scope of the lighting design was widened with proper audience lights for the entire venue. On the one hand, it was very important that the original atmosphere and unique characteristics of an EAV concert were not eliminated. On the other hand, it was also important that the cameras had enough light to capture the large concert audience.

Aside from these design adjustments, the main challenge for this show was getting everything coordinated in time. As the band and team had just arrived from their ongoing tour, the technical crew could only start installing the show the day before. This task required perfect time management and detailed technical planning down to the last lamp. It was a full success!
