Storms, thunder, and floods: what seemed like a sudden, real-life weather event hitting Linz was actually the sound and lighting design of this year’s “Klangwolke“. The hour-long show depicted the city’s destruction and rebirth, cinematically staged by film director Felix Breisach. Around 90.000 visitors attended the open-air spectacle on the Danube on September 12, 2026, accompanied by the Bruckner Orchestra, the St. Florian Boys’ Choir, musicians Flora Marlene Geißelbrecht, Arthur Fussy, and Marcus Merkel, as well as baritone Rafael Fingerlos.
