The Austrian pop-rock singer Christina Stürmer performed at the Vienna Volkstheater on August 22nd and 23rd, 2023, after a five-year break. As the first German-speaking female artist to host an own “MTV Unplugged” session, she celebrated her comeback by performing her songs as brand new acoustic versions. Many surprise guests from Austria and from Germany accompanied these exclusive evenings on stage. The set resembled a cozy rehearsal room – of course! – within the historical ambience of the Volkstheater, paired with a delicate lighting concept to fit the overall special mood.
