The “AAMA” is the most important award in the Austrian music business. It is an annual event presented by the IFPI Austria to recognise major achievements in the national music industry. The television broadcast ceremony includes many high-level performances of national and international artists.

This year’s presentation of the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards finally took place again in the (freshly renovated) Viennese “Volkstheater”. The video design for this production and award ceremony was created together with director and AAMA-mastermind Lukas Dudzik. A visual highlight of the show was the inclusion of a stage set that was built in 1989 in the workshops of the theater, which provided the AAMAs 2022 with a memorable and iconic look.
