The “AAMA” is the most prestigious award in the Austrian music industry. It is presented annually by the Association of the Austrian Music Industry (IFPI Austria) to honor significant achievements within the national music sector.

This year, the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards ceremony once again took place at the Marx Halle in Vienna. However, it featured a revamped set concept, with a stage positioned at each end of the venue. Catwalks extending through the audience connected one stage to the other. Tom Neuwirth hosted the evening with various wardrobe changes. A total of 14 awards were presented; the “Lifetime Achievement” award went to Peter Cornelius. The entire production design was created in collaboration with director and AAMA mastermind Lukas Dudzik.
