The “AAMA” is the most important award in the Austrian music business. It is organized every year by the Association of the Austrian Music Industry (IFPI Austria) to honor significant achievements in the national music industry.

This year’s presentation of the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards once again took place in the Volkstheater in Vienna. Inspired by the previous year, the same stage set built in 1989 in the workshops of the Volkstheater, was used again to provide the AAMAs 2023 with a memorable look. The built-in set design for this year’s production was created together with director and AAMA mastermind Lukas Dudzik. The two performance tunnels with their matching architectural light installation, as well as the 24m long semicircular LED wall in the background were added as new design elements. The latter gave the show acts a graphic depth and thus a colossal backdrop at a 180° angle.
